Buddy Games Year Six (Full of Dicks) is Complete!

Despite a very wet weekend, it didn't dampen the spirits of the 25 or so guys who showed up to take part in another memorable Buddy Games. We welcomed both returning and new Buddies, and all in all, the weekend went off without any major incidents.

As per usual, we had to modify a few events due to rain, time constraints, and Cale's lack of planning. But that's part of the tradition at this point, and it only adds to the chaos and fun.

One of the great things about Buddy Games is that we've crowned a different champion every year, and year 6 was no exception. After apparently deciding not to catch any fish for the previous five years, Kevin "Bacon" finally cashed in all his saved-up fish this year and managed to sneak away with a two-point victory over Correy, last year's champion.

The finish was one for the record books. It came down to a more-or-less celebratory Intoxicator event - not once, but twice - before Kevin was finally able to secure the title.

Congratulations to Kevin "Bacon" on becoming the Buddy Games Year Six Champion!

Thanks to everyone who came out, competed, helped organize, and made the weekend another success. We'll see you all next year for Buddy Games Year Seven.
